The Karachi AI Meetup #24 focused on the This time for the 24th Quarterly Meetup of Karachi.AI, we focus on helping AI practitioners, creators, and enthusiasts from any walk of life such as executives, professionals, students and entrepreneurs who want to transform technical expertise into business opportunities.
Held at Mohammad Ali Jinnah, PECHS Campus, the event served as an engaging platform for networking and knowledge exchange among like-minded professionals.
Introduction to Karachi AI and Community Vision
The meetup began with an address from our Event Host, Mr. Adeel Sohail. His enthusiasm sparked smiles on the participants' faces, setting a positive tone for the event.
Opening Note Mohammad Ali Jinnah University
The meetup proceeded with a hosts welcoming keynote by Mr. Anas Qadri. Igniting the need to learning AI in the participants and how MAJU is developing initiatives around it to reinvent the curriculum.
Following the opening, Mr. Mesum Raza Hemani, Founder of Karachi AI, introduced the initiative. Karachi AI operates as an independent chapter of the former global parent City.AI organization. Their mission focuses on increasing local AI education, empowering startups, and raising awareness about AI's real-world applications.
Mr. Hemani also shared an introduction of new Generative AI Specialization Launching soon from Karachi AI, with Executive, Developer and Creator Tracks. Learn More Here
Their goals center around empowerment, awareness, and engagement. They aim to help Pakistan harness AI's potential for a promising future.
Session 1 : Monetizing Applied AI as Dev & Creator
1. Monetizing Applied AI Skills as Developer in GenAI Era
Speaker: Mr. Wahajat Karim – Google Developer Expert and Android Lead at Nebula
He discussed quite insightful points that every developer should note to monetize their Applied AI Skills and see their future beyond vibe coding in to purposeful use of AI and monetizing new Gen AI Stack Skills.

Speaker: Mr. Ali Hamza – Chief Creative Director, Social Champ
With Ali’s advice, It super easy for everyone to building and experiment. His talk is for aspiring product managers and idea dreamers and will show you how to build and flip Micro SaaS projects right here in Pakistan. Ali shared case studies from Social Champ and many more local startups using AI to developer SaaS and maintain it.

He shared his thought that using AI workflows and Automations such as n8n and more was super-efficient and productive for business.
